Sovanna Shopping Center opened in Phnom Penh 2008 five years after Sorya Shopping mall  and impresses with its modern architecture. The Sovanna Shopping Center is in Phnom Penh’s south west located. Therefore the Sovanna Mall is not really in the center or nearby any tourist attractions.

Sorya Shopping Centre was the first Shopping Mall to open in Phnom Penh 2002 and caused a sensation among the locals when it opened as they had never seen escalators before. The Mall is still one of the most popular malls among the young Cambodians it is less colorful than the traditional markets, but it is air-conditioned and contains a range of cheap fast-food outlets as well as a well-stocked supermarket named Lucky Supermarket. It is a westernized shopping center and contains a number of fast food restaurants.

The Paragon Mall is centrally located near the National Museum of Cambodia and the Royal Palace. There are actually only 2 featured shops - a large supermarket which sells a wide variety of products and a Swensen’s Ice Cream Restaurant. Also have muscle shop for bodybuilders.

City Mall Shopping Center offers everything from clothes, shoes, accessories to electronics. Most of the smaller shops in the mall are Cambodian brands.The Mall is nearby the Phnom Penh Olympic Stadium which was designed by famous Cambodian architect Vann Molyvann.

The 68,000-square-metre Aeon Mall, located on Sothearos Boulevard, is now the largest shopping centre in Cambodia, with international tenants including American jeans maker Levi Strauss, British shoe brand Clarks and European labels L’occitaine, Valentino and Pierre Cardin all vying for sales. The newest and biggest Phnom Penh Shopping Center has opened in late June 2014, after 18 months of construction. The $200 Million expensive Aeon Shopping Mall was funded by Japanese investors (Aeon Co. Ltd.) and those investors have plans for another 3 large shopping centers in Phnom Penh. The parking space with a capacity for 1400 cars and additionally 1’600 motor bikes should be enough even for busy weekends.
